Tap I (Ages 6-8)
Tap is shown in studies to be the best cognitive activity for brains of all ages. Studies have shown that taking Tap can increase organization, study habits, communication skills and cleaning habits. This level of Tap teaches basic rhythms, coordination, tap terminology, footwork and choreography.
Tap II (Ages 8+)
This class is designed to refine tap skills, while moving beyond the fundamentals of tap. Students will put the fundamentals to work by learning new steps, rhythms, patterns, and combinations. Students will also learn different styles of tap such as Stomp, Showboat, and Rhythmic.
Tap III (Ages 10+)
A more advanced class building upon skills and technique learned in Tap II. This level of Tap will focus on more in depth time steps, across the floors and choreography.
Adult Tap
Always wanted to learn tap? Just learning tap? Has it been a while since your last tap class? If you an adult seeking to learn or perfect your tap skills, Come on over! This technique class will focus on faster and more intricate footwork for the seasoned tapper and sharpen the basics for the beginner. The dancer at this level will develop speed, clarity, dynamics, and the ability to execute to complex rhythmic combinations.
